From a terrified little kitten who had no idea what was happening to him or who he could trust, to a sweet, content little boy who is finally learning what it feels like to be safe and loved.

Matcha has been in foster care with Haylee for one week today, and we are so incredibly grateful for the love, patience, and kindness she has poured into him. She has given him the time, comfort, and reassurance he needed to come out of his shell and truly thrive. And goodness, has he ever! 🥹❤️

It's amazing what a little love and a safe place to land can do for an animal who has known so much fear.
And as it turns out, our sweet Matcha has a little secret he's been keeping.......

He's going to tell everyone TOMORROW! 🤫❤️

❤️ Meet Charlie, available for adoption through FUR Animal Rescue ❤️

Charlie has been with us since September 3, and I still can't believe this amazing boy hasn't found his FURever home!

Charlie is doing SO good! He has made two cat friends here at the FURcility, and we have learned just how much he LOVES having other cats around. He plays, wrestles, chases, and just genuinely enjoys their company. Because of this, **Charlie will require a friendly, social cat in his new home.** He really needs that companionship to be his happiest self!

Charlie is also wonderful with kids! He's extremely laid back, patient, and good natured. However, we've learned that toddlers and very rambunctious, grabby little ones can be a bit overwhelming for him. He's not mean about it, just a little intimidated! We feel he'd do best with kids who are past that stage and understand how to be gentle with animals.

This boy is just an all-around GOOD cat. He loves to play, loves attention, loves giving baths to his feline friends, and is just as happy hanging out and relaxing. He's affectionate, social, easygoing, and has such a sweet personality.

Charlie originally came to us after being found as an intact male stray. Nobody claimed him, and after going unadopted at the city shelter, we brought him into rescue, got him completely vetted, and gave him a fresh start.

And now? He's ready for the next chapter!

Charlie doesn't need anything fancy. Just a loving family, a fun cat friend, some toys, and a place to call his own. He's the kind of cat who will fit right into everyday family life and make you wonder how you ever lived without him.

I really can't say enough good things about this boy. He's just Charlie. A sweet, happy, playful, typical cat who deserves a wonderful home of his own. ❤️
