📢 Scheduling Update for Perfect Paws By Heather The RVT

As summer comes to an end and my kids head back to school, our family's schedule is changing. With both of my children now attending different schools and having different drop-off and pick-up times, I need to be home in the afternoons to get my son off the bus.

Because of this, my new business hours will be Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM and well need to be strict about this.

To help accommodate clients who truly cannot make appointments during those hours, I do plan to offer one or two extended business days each month with later appointment times. However, please understand that these appointments will be extremely limited and may not align with your normal 4-, 6-, or 8-week recurring schedule. These appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed so book in advance if this is you!

I have already spent much of today reaching out to many of you regarding schedule adjustments. If I have not personally contacted you, your currently scheduled appointments will remain exactly as they are. The only appointments changing are the ones I have already discussed, otherwise your other appts remain the same.

If you have any questions or are unsure about your upcoming appointments, please don't hesitate to reach out! I'm happy to send you a screenshot of your scheduled appointments. You can also view all of your upcoming appointments anytime through the Square Go app.

I truly appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding as our family adjusts to the new school routine.

Ever wonder how you know you're dating an RVT? 🤣

Just check their camera roll... If there are more pictures of random dogs than of family members, you've probably found one! 🐶📸❤️

As I was putting together this video, it really hit me just how many incredible pets I've had the privilege of caring for throughout my career. These photos are from my years as an RVT and pet parent—both from my time working in veterinary clinics and now with Perfect Paws By Heather The RVT. And believe it or not... this video only includes about a quarter of all the dog photos I have! And I often forget to take photos. 😂

From playful puppies to sweet seniors, every pet has left a little paw print on my heart. I'm so thankful for every family who has trusted me to care for their furry loved ones over the years.

Important Service Area Update:

To our Akron and surrounding area clients,

I wanted to let everyone know about an upcoming change at Perfect Paws By Heather The RVT.

Due to personal reasons, Crystal has decided to leave our team. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has done and wish her nothing but the very best in her next chapter.

Unfortunately, because of this change, we will no longer be providing services in the Akron and surrounding areas. At this time, we are not planning to hire another team member to cover that region.

Our Lake County service areas will continue to operate as normal with no changes. I will continue providing the same in-home care you've come to expect throughout those areas.

To our Akron families—thank you for trusting us with your beloved pets. It has truly been an honor to care for them, and I sincerely appreciate your support over the past year. Wishing you and your furry family members nothing but the best.

If you are expecting me (or a member of my team) and have not heard from us, please, please, please reach out! We've had two appointments this week mysteriously disappear from our schedule, and we're trying to figure out what happened.

I'm not sure if it was related to a system update, a scheduling glitch, or something else, but I never want anyone sitting at home wondering where we are.

If you have an appointment scheduled and don't receive your normal text reminders, confirmations, or if anything seems off, don't hesitate to call or text. I'd much rather double-check than have anyone miss the care their pets need.
