The Service Dog (SSD Chipotle) that I raised, and his Partner Rachel are here visiting and am so excited to see them both I am on Cloud 9 right now enjoying every minute! A little background on the service dog process. These dogs are given to Raisers at approximately 10 weeks old and they live with the raiser for up to 2 years during that time the Raisers train with the guidance of the organization professional trainers to teach them various commands during that period once they get to the 2 year mark dogs are sent back to the organization were they will then specialize in the advanced training needed for the partner they will be assigned to. I have been blessed to be able to keep in touch with all the dogs I have raised as you can see in the picture ( he was my 2nd dog ). What a great organization I have had the privilege to be associated with. Look them up SUSQUEHANNA Service Dogs in PA. 🐶❤️
