The micro-school will not be a part of our plan any longer. I felt like it was something I was supposed to do for students who did not fit the mold of public or private education in our area. Once again health of myself and family takes precedence over daily lesson planning and commitments. I will be continuing to do consulting work and piddling around with the animals. This page will be for our mini petting zoo, vegetable and egg sales, and bakery items, etc. Thanks for following along.

Introducing the newest arrival to the farm, Emerald the Spaulding peafowl. This beautiful bird arrived Saturday evening and we will spend the next few months getting comfortable and learning to trust one another before allowing free ranging. The aviary is being constructed and we can’t wait to have our students learn about peacocks and peahens.
