We're excited to announce that beginning Monday, October 22, 2026, Aliante Animal Hospital will be transitioning to a new practice management system called Instinct!

BIG NEWS: We’re Extending Our Weekend Hours! 🐾

We’re making it even easier to get your pet the care they need! Starting today, Aliante Animal Hospital will be open:

⏰ 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 7 DAYS A WEEK!

That means more availability on Saturdays and Sundays and more flexibility to schedule your pet’s care when it works best for you. 🐶🐱💙

🐾 Important Update to Our Boarding Check-In Process 🐾

To help us provide the safest and most attentive care for every pet staying with us, Aliante Animal Hospital is updating its boarding check-in requirements.

A veterinarian will now be involved in every boarding check-in. Your pet will also need to be placed in an exam room during check-in if they:

• Have not been examined by one of our veterinarians within the past six months
• Are 10 years of age or older
• Take prescription medications
• Require injections during their stay
• Have a new or ongoing medical concern

If your pet is due for routine services, such as vaccinations, a nail trim, or an a**l gland expression, but has been examined within the past three months, an exam-room check-in may not be required.

Because these additional steps are designed to ensure your pet’s health needs are properly reviewed before their stay, boarding check-in may take a little longer than usual. We appreciate your patience and encourage you to allow additional time when dropping off your pet.

If you have questions about your pet’s upcoming stay, please contact us before their scheduled boarding date.

The Fourth of July is almost here!

While we look forward to celebrating the Fourth of July, many pets find the holiday stressful. Taking a few simple precautions ahead of time can help keep them safe and comfortable all weekend long.

Here are a few reminders:
🐾 Keep pets indoors during fireworks displays.
🐾 Close windows and curtains to help reduce noise and flashing lights.
🐾 Play calming music or leave the TV on to help mask loud sounds.
🐾 Ensure your pet is wearing identification and that their microchip information is up to date.
🐾 If your pet is known to have fireworks anxiety, reach out to your veterinarian before the holiday for guidance.

With a little planning, you can help your furry family members enjoy a safer, less stressful holiday.

☀️ The desert heat can become dangerous in a matter of minutes, especially for our pets.

Knowing the warning signs of heatstroke and taking a few simple precautions can help prevent a life-threatening emergency.

💧 Keep clean, fresh water available at all times
🌳 Choose early morning or evening walks
🚗 Never leave your pet alone in a parked car
🏥 If you suspect your pet is overheating, cool them with cool water and contact your veterinarian or the nearest emergency animal hospital immediately.

Your pet depends on you to help them beat the heat. Let's work together to keep them healthy, happy, and safe all summer long! 🐾❤️
