Southern Nevada Boston Terrier Rescue

This is the official non-profit 501(c)(3) page for Southern Nevada Boston Terrier Rescue. We have been able to rescue hundreds of Bostons since our beginning.

The Southern Nevada Boston Terrier Rescue was started in 2001 and is run 100% by volunteers and donations. We are looking for others who love the Bostons as much as we do! We do not have kennels, so if you are able to be a foster home we'd love to hear from you. We take great pride in the breed and have several ongoing goals.

1. To have fun!
2. To assist Bostons in need.
3. To educate the public

about the breed.
4. To encourage adoption over pet shop purchase. If you know of a Boston Terrier in need, would like to adopt a Boston Terrier, or be a foster parent, please contact us.

Cookie is still looking for her person…

🍪 Cookie is a professional cuddler, expert shadow, and firm believer that life is better when she’s the center of attention. She loves hard and will happily be your sidekick wherever you go.

👑 Cookie has one request: she wants to be your one and only.

🚫 Other dogs? Hard pass. Big dogs, small dogs, or anything in between, Cookie has made it very clear she’s happiest flying solo. No dog parks, no playdates, and no “let’s just see how it goes.” She knows what she wants, and honestly? We love a girl with boundaries.

🍪 Cookie is looking for a calm, predictable home where she can be her happiest self. A backyard to enjoy, a comfy spot to nap, and a person who appreciates her spicy little personality while letting her enjoy life on her own terms.

🍪 Cookie is a 5 year old, 18 pound Boston Terrier who firmly believes the world revolves around her… and honestly, she’d like to keep it that way. She’s sweet, sassy, and absolutely convinced she’s the main ingredient in every recipe.

🍪 She loves her people BIG! Like… full-contact, no-personal-space, I-need-to-be-in-your-face-right-now kind of love. She believes affection should be delivered immediately and with maximum enthusiasm.

🍪 As for other dogs? Cookie respectfully declines. Cookie is looking for a home where she can be your one and only. No furry roommates, no dog parks, and no sharing the spotlight. She’s happiest when she has all the love and attention to herself.

🐾 Meet Diesel! 🐾
Diesel is a handsome 4-year-old Boston Terrier with a sweet nature, a bright mind, and a heart that’s ready to find his forever family. If you had to describe him in three words, they’d be: loving, playful, and devoted. He’s equal parts ball hound and Velcro dog—always up for a game of fetch, but happiest when he’s close to his favorite people.

When Diesel first arrived in foster care, he needed about a week to settle in. Coming from apartment living with more kennel time than he deserved, the world was a little overwhelming. In just two short weeks, though, he’s blossomed. He’s mastered the dog door, discovered the joy of playing with his foster sisters, explored the dog park, and eagerly embraces every new adventure that comes his way.

Diesel loves toys and happily shares playtime with his foster family, canine companions, and even the neighbors. He’s affectionate without being demanding—he’ll politely ask for lap time and pets, and once he’s curled up beside you, you’ll understand why he’s such a wonderful companion. He also walks nicely on a leash and is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his vaccinations.

One quirk to know about Diesel is that he’s very sensitive to lights and reflections. Flashlights, bright reflections, or sunlight bouncing through windows can startle him. His future family will need to be patient and understanding as he continues to build confidence.

Diesel would thrive in a home with another friendly dog to help him continue learning and growing. He’d also be happiest with someone who works from home or is retired, as he truly loves being with his people and craves companionship and affection.
If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who will happily chase a ball, join you on life’s adventures, and then curl up in your lap at the end of the day, Diesel may be the perfect addition to your family.

One thing you’ll notice about Diesel is that he has absolutely no tail—and absolutely no wag! Don’t mistake his still little backside for a lack of enthusiasm. 🚨 Foster or Foster To Adopt Needed 🚨

We desperately need a foster (or foster to adopt) for a 9 year old male Boston Terrier. He must be the only pet in the home, as he is not dog or other animal friendly. We cannot take this pup in unless we have a *committed* foster!
