🐾💚 Ever wonder why we sometimes take your pet to the back? 💚🐾

We get it — you want to stay with your pet every step of the way.
We love that. It means you care!

But here’s the thing…

Some pets are absolute angels with their people.
And some…

🐾 get a little extra protective
🐾 look to mom or dad for reassurance
🐾 or feel a bit more nervous with you nearby

Sometimes, giving them a little space — a new setting, a few calm voices, and some gentle, experienced hands — can make all the difference.

💚 It often helps them relax
💚 Makes procedures quicker and smoother
💚 And can turn something scary into something much more manageable

And believe it or not…

🐾 Some pets actually do better when they’re away from their humans

Which means those nail trims, blood draws, and even parts of the exam can be done quickly, safely, and with less stress for everyone involved.

This 10-week-old Cane Corso is everything you could hope for in a puppy —
sweet, snuggly, brave… and already stealing hearts left and right 😭🐾

And while Kane is absolutely a star…
his family deserves a HUGE shoutout.

✨ Do you remember Santinio? ✨

Now listen — Santinio may be almost 16 months old now… but to us?
He’ll always be that tiny little 9-week-old puppy we first met 😭💚

And while these pictures might not show a huge difference at first glance…

trust us… there has been some SERIOUS growing happening here. 👀

From baby puppy energy…
to a sweet, respectful, and truly adorable young man 🐶✨

Santinio has grown into the kind of dog that just makes your day better the second you see him.

💚 Watching our patients grow up is one of the absolute best parts of what we do.

From first visits… to confident, happy check-ins — it never gets old.

🐾 We are SO lucky to have known Santinio since the very beginning, and we can’t wait to keep watching him grow into the amazing dog he’s becoming.

We know you’re celebrating… and let’s be real… your pets are absolutely convinced they should be included.

And for once… we agree 😌

🌮✨ Let’s build a pet-safe taco bowl! ✨🌮

Think simple, fresh, and NO seasonings (their stomachs will thank you 👀)

🐾 Base: plain white or brown rice
🍗 Protein: unseasoned chicken, turkey, or beef (BOILED)
🥕 Toppings: carrots, green beans, or a little lettuce
🥄 Bonus: a spoonful of plain pumpkin, kong cheeses (in moderation) or sweet potato

🚫 Skip the following:
❌ onions & garlic
❌ spicy toppings
❌ cheese overload
❌ anything heavily seasoned

💚 The goal:
Let them feel included without upsetting their stomach later.

Because nothing ruins a celebration faster than a midnight tummy ache.

These two recently adopted kittens found themselves the absolute perfect home — and we could not be happier about it 💚
