**UPDATE: We are happy to say that we've received several inquiries and Quid has had a few meet and greets with great people. We're confident he'll be adopted soon and therefore we won't be accepting additional adoption apps for him. Thanks!**

🐾 Introducing Quid! This little guy was found wandering around alone in Quidnessett Cemetery on October 2nd and no one has come forward to claim him. He must have belonged to someone at some point because he was wearing a collar when he was found.
We've decided to call him Quid. Super creative right? 😁
Anyhoo, Quid is estimated to be between 6 months and 9 months old. He has now been neutered, vaccinated, tested for Felv/FIV (negative) and is on the prowl for his forever home! Since he was found outside, we have no information about whether he has ever lived with other cats, dogs, kids, etc. He's had brief but friendly interactions with another male cat at the shelter, which is a good sign.
If you're interested in meeting Quid, please give us a call, email or Facebook message to arrange a time to meet him 🐾

🌟 💎 Are you looking for a walking, hiking, exploring partner who you can also cozy up with when it's time to relax? Look no further!
Bella is an active, curious, outdoorsy girl who's looking for someone to do all the fun things with and be her forever person or people.

Bella's feelings about other dogs are mixed. She goes on walks with other dogs at the shelter but is often reactive toward unfamiliar dogs while out on-leash. Bella's adoption includes post-adoption training thru our friends at Shelter to Sofa RI .so she can continue to make progress with that. Cats and small animals are a no go for this girl, as she will likely chase them. Bella likes kids, although she must be walked by an adult, not kids.
Bella is about 5 to 6 years old, spayed and current on vaccinations.
Give us a call or email or Facebook message to arrange a time to meet Bella. You don't want to miss out on this gem! 💎🌟

Do you recognize this kitty? This friendly guy was found in Quidnessett Cemetery this afternoon and brought to the animal shelter so he would be safe. He is wearing a collar with a bell and appears to be an intact male.
No microchip. If you have any information about him, please call North Kingstown Animal Control at: 401-295-5579. **PLEASE NOTE: Animal Control is off duty until Monday AM, so please leave them a message and wait for a call back**

Do you recognize this cat? She was recently found on Krzak Road and brought to the animal shelter yesterday. She's quite thin and appears to be declawed on her front feet. No microchip.
Please contact North Kingstown Animal Control at: 401-295-5579 with any information.
**Please Note: She is not available for adoption at this time. She needs some vet care and we are required to hold her for 5 days in case an owner comes forward**

*Cat Found*
This cat was possibly found last week on Krzak Road and brought inside before the storm. She was brought to The NK Animal Shelter yesterday 9/30. She is a skinny female, no collar, no micro chip. She is declawed in the front paws.
We are aware that there is a small colony of cats being fed and cared for by some residents at the end of the park.
If anyone recognizes this cat, please call #295-5579 with any information.

***PLEASE NOTE: Please stop tagging Vintage Pet Rescue. We know them, we adore them, they are fabulous. But, they have many dogs in their care already and it is not their responsibility to take in every senior dog. If we need their assistance we will reach out to them. We've received a few inquiries on Fiona already so we're optimistic we'll have her in a home sooner than later. Thank you!***

🐾🩷 We are looking for a foster home or permanent home for this sweet peanut!🩷🐾

Meet Fiona, a senior dog (about 13) with a heart full of love. This pint size sprite weighs in at just 7.5lbs! Despite her age, Fiona's personality shines brightly—she's sweet, cuddly and still enjoys zooming around outside and doing her own little happy dance. Then, she likes to burrow under the covers on her beds. Yes, she has two beds because she likes to go back and forth between them. Fiona has lived with a cat and seems to like other small, comparably sized dogs. She's not a good fit for homes with larger dogs or young children.

Fiona is spayed, current on vaccinations and just started medication to regulate her thyroid and a medication to help with some arthritis she seems to have in her knee.
To learn more about Fiona or to arrange a time to meet her, please call or email us!
