Spring is finally upon us, birds, bees & predators are awake and most interested in the ponds as a great source of food. Aside from our usual battle with raccoons, now we have bears and that is an entirely different situation which we cannot handle without the assistance of Fish & Wildlife. A dear client lost 4 large Koi and the survivors are all scrapped. We are looking a electrical fences and other modalities to keep the hungry bears out of the pond as we understand they are hungry, just out of hibernation and most probably with cubs by their side. Never a dull moment when caring for fish.
