The Purr Project, Inc. CT all volunteer foster based rescue - 501c3 🐈 Adopt 🐾Volunteer 🐾 Foster with US!
(1)

Because we are based at New Haven Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine, The Purr Project specifically focuses on those cats that have illnesses, injuries, or other conditions but still deserve to be saved. Because of our mission, almost 80% of our expenditures are for medical expenses. As a 501(c)3 non profit, we depend on the generosity of the public to pay those bills. As a Kitty Klub member, cats that would normally be euthanized will get the chance at the happy life that they deserve.

😻 We're ecstatic to
announce Big Boi's ADOPTION!

🐾Big Boi's story started over a year ago as he waited through all 4 seasons for his Furr-ever home.

🐾 Big Boi is FiV+ and a lover boy that only wanted to give love & be loved. Shown by 💋 everyone he met!
We are thrilled for Big Boi and his dad SHANE and wish them many, many years of head kisses, snuggles & boops!

🐾 I'm so grateful to be part of this amazing rescue. We are tiny but mighty! Each person puts in their own time and energy helping cats get to their perfect homes.
Especially when the wait is long, costs are high and burn out is real.

🐾 A special thank you to Jenifer Blemings Mary Tedford John Stephens AND to everyone who had a part with Big Boi's journey 💜🐈‍⬛

😻 The littlest group of Purr Project cubs! Not too long ago they were tiny as jelly beans and now they are exploring the big wonderful world of thier foster families Emma Fenn ✨ home.

💜 To help us help them along the way please consider donating kitten food, litter or a monetary donation to help go towards their care. It takes a village! Thank you from the kitties! 🐈💜🐈‍⬛

This is K9 Valor. He saved 47 soldiers. He survived a su***de bomber, then went on to stop three more, fighting tooth against knife. In the end, he placed himself between an explosion and his handler.

The blast shattered half his face. He lost his left eye and ear. He was flown to Germany, where surgeons worked to rebuild his jaw.

At the Pentagon, he was honored with a standing ovation that lasted over eight minutes.

A true American hero🇺🇸

😻 Happy Tails for Isadora, Belle, and Natalie & Josh who finally got their Furr-ever home together! 🥰
Walter (aka Wh**ey) is doing amazing! Older cats like Walter who’ve been through a lot, have some medical challenges are usually over looked and in foster care far too long.
But Walter lucked out with an amazing family who saw what a great guy he is, saw his potential, and found his character charming. We couldn’t be happier for him and all the cats/kittens especially with challenges find their fur-ever home 🐕🖼️🐈‍⬛

🐕 If you’re interested in volunteering, fostering or can make a donation of food, litter or contribute any amount to their medical bills we’d love to hear from you! 💜🐾
