Much need time off at horse shows this weekend.
Last two weeks we have had 27 lesson a week and over 15 trail rides.

August was a phenomenal month and can’t wait to continue growing each and every month!

🐴 NEW LESSON SYSTEM AT NFS RANCH! 🤎
We’re excited to be moving into a more structured recurring lesson schedule for our September–May season!
Our goal is to give riders a consistent weekly spot, create better progress from lesson to lesson, and make scheduling easier for everyone.
✨ How it will work:
• Choose 1 or 2 lessons per week
• Lessons will primarily be scheduled Monday–Friday
• Available lesson times will run from 8:30 AM–7:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday will be used for overflow, make-up lessons, and additional lessons when we’re in town
• Each rider will have a consistent weekly day and time once their schedule is confirmed
Once your lesson spot is finalized, you’ll receive an invoice to securely save a card on file. Weekly lessons will then be automatically billed Sunday/Monday for the upcoming week, so you don’t have to worry about paying at every lesson.
We’ll also continue sending lesson reports and next-step goals so riders and parents can see exactly what we’re working on and how each rider is progressing. 🐴📋
This new system is all about creating confident, independent riders through consistency and a clear plan — whether your goal is becoming comfortable in the saddle, trail riding independently, leasing a horse, or moving into competition.
🚨 If you want a lesson spot, sign up quickly!
We already have a large number of weekly spots filled and currently complete approximately 25–30 lessons every week. Our schedule fills fast, and once our recurring spots are full, availability will become much more limited.

Current and new lesson clients will receive a short scheduling form where you can give us the days and times that work best for your family, and we’ll work with you to find the best available recurring spot.

At NFS Ranch, our lessons are about so much more than simply getting on a horse. We are building confident, capable and independent equestrians. 🐴
Our goal is to help riders develop real independence within six months or less whenever their consistency, confidence and skill progression allow. Every rider advances at their own pace, with safety and proper horsemanship always coming first.
Your journey begins with a rider questionnaire so we can understand your experience, confidence level and goals. From there, we create a personalized pathway designed around where you want riding to take you.
Your goals may include:
• Riding confidently and independently
• Enjoying guided or independent trail rides
• Developing strong arena and horsemanship skills
• Learning barrel racing or preparing for competitions
• Becoming eligible for membership or leasing opportunities
• Preparing for future horse ownership
• Building toward a career or deeper involvement with horses
After every lesson, riders receive progress notes explaining what they practiced, what they accomplished, what still needs improvement and what they will work toward next.
Whether your dream is to relax on the trails, compete in the arena, lease a horse, own one someday or simply feel like a true equestrian—you deserve a realistic pathway to get there.
One-hour private lessons are $75 per rider and are offered Tuesday through Sunday mornings. NFS Ranch provides the lesson horse, saddle, tack and personalized instruction.

Yesterday , NFS Ranch had to say goodbye to one of the greatest horses to ever call our ranch home — Milkshake.
Milkshake was truly one of the best. She was older when she came to us, and we knew our time with her would never be long enough. But for the last two years of her life, she got exactly what every great horse deserves — retirement, love, endless attention, and a place where she was truly family.
She gave so much throughout her life, and we feel incredibly lucky that we were able to give her a beautiful final chapter. She was loved by so many people here, especially the kids who had the chance to know, ride, brush, hug, and learn from her. 🤍
When you love horses, you know they won't be here forever. You know this day eventually comes. But knowing that never makes saying goodbye any easier.
Milkshake may have only spent two years with us, but she left a lifetime of memories behind.
Thank you for being one of the good ones, Milkshake. Thank you for taking care of our riders and for being such a special part of NFS Ranch.
Run free, sweet girl. You earned your retirement, and you earned your wings. 🕊️🐴🤍

📣 NFS RANCH BOOKING UPDATE
All horseback riding lessons and trail rides must be booked directly through me/NFS Ranch.
We currently do not use an online booking site, so please do not book through any outside website or individual.
🐴 Lessons: No deposit is required to schedule.
🌴 Trail Rides: A deposit is required to officially reserve your date and time.
Booking directly through NFS Ranch helps make sure every rider is scheduled correctly, matched with the appropriate horse, and receives the correct pricing, policies, and ride information.
If you have previously booked through someone else, please contact me directly for all future lessons or trail rides.
