What I find when I receive a call from a dog owner having some bad interaction with there puppy is a lack of communication letting the dog know that what they are doing is either right or wrong. when asked when the dog misbehaves what action do they take and its normally either nothing or deflecting the dog instead of correcting. Dogs do not even know they are doing anything wrong when the communication is not correct. remember deflection is not training and think of correcting as learning not punishment. Handlers have to be very clear in their actions and in the timing of rewards or correction. Love to hear some responses and hear what behavior problems you are having and unable to fix.
