This past weekend, Checkers and I loaded up for another horse show.

Only difference? I didn’t have anyone to help me! 🫣 Mom was out of town. So I put my big girl pants on. Successfully hooked up the trailer, loaded my horse, won some ribbons and strutted our stuff. Loaded back up, went back to the barn, parked the trailer in her spot, called it a day.

It’s kind of a big deal for me!

Horse showing as an adult has given me a whole new outlook on why I do it, and the sense of pride and excitement I feel after recognizing that our hard work is paying off… it’s unmatched.♥️

I love my job💗
I love the critters I meet, the community connections I’ve made and people I’ve met, and all the tricks I’ve learned over the years.
I’ve been dog sitting regularly for 10 years now, since graduating high school, and still have some of the same clients.🥰
There have been joyous days, challenging days, and sad days along with this commitment, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Thank you all for supporting me on this journey. Onward!🐾
