Just a heads up! π€§π€§π€§ We have heard that canine cough has been in full force this year, and we have received confirmation of a case this week. Just like in humans, there is always the risk pups can pick up a bug, especially if they frequent any type of public place from the park to the vet clinic (just like sending your kids to school or daycare!) were they are around other poochers. If your dog is experiencing any symptoms, please leave them at home.
There is typically no need to panic but it is good to be proactive and monitor your dog's change in eating ect. Most dogs can kick icky things on their own, but dogs with compromised immune systems might need a bit of help from our awesome vet friends.ππππ
Always be sure to tell us if you note anything before or after a stay in your dogs! We certainly try to do our best to stay in communication over the course of any dog's time with us if we see anything out of the ordinary! π€π€π€
We like to be as transparent as possible with our customers. Please feel free to give us a call with any questions or concerns! We are fortunate enough to have private areas in our facility and have the ability to seperate dogs if we need to, have great cleaning protocols in place, and require that pups are up to date on their vaccines. In addition to this, we have an Ecolab santiation system and an air scrubber in our HVAC system. Thank you for your understanding and taking the time to learn about dog health along with us!πππ
