NH Paw Rescue is an informal group of volunteers available to assist with dog rescue incidents in the mountains of New Hampshire. We’re looking to expand our team roster!
Our ideal member has these characteristics as a start:
-You live within an hour’s drive of an area where we commonly see dog incidents: mainly the Presidential Range (all sections) and Franconia Notch. Exceptions can be made for the right candidates.
-You have the hiking experience, physical fitness, and gear to travel in rugged White Mountain terrain, often at night and in bad weather.
-You have a genuine interest in helping hikers and their dogs. Additionally, you have an understanding that this work can be difficult and often happens at inconvenient times.
