WE NEED DONATIONS TO SAVE ARI'S LIFE!

He was just diagnosed with FIP after his health crashed over a week.

Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) is a viral disease caused by a coronavirus that mutates inside some cats. It used to be a death sentence, but there is now treatment available!

But the treatment is VERY expensive. He already had a $5,500 emergency vet visit and the treatment is at least $1,700 + more for follow-up visits.

Neither the rescue or his family can afford all the costs.

So we need your help! Please donate whatever you can to save this kiddo's life.

I rescued him as a wee kitten. He was adopted with both his siblings by a wonderful family who showers him with love.

He especially loves his mom. He is her soul kitty! I lost my soul kitty last year, so I don't want his mom to have to lose him when he could live a long healthy life with treatment.

We're excited to officially welcome Dr. Holly Steuerwald as the newest member of the Lucky Rehabilitation Center, Inc. Board of Directors!

A lifelong Columbia County resident, Holly grew up in Valatie and attended the Ichabod Crane School District before pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She earned her veterinary degree from the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical training at Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine.

For nearly 20 years, Holly has been caring for animals throughout New York and currently practices at Chatham Small Animal Hospital. Her knowledge, compassion, and dedication to animal care make her an incredible addition to our board.

When she's not helping her patients, Holly enjoys spending time with her husband and teenage daughter, and caring for and riding the two horses she keeps at home.

We couldn't be happier to have Holly helping guide the future of Lucky Rehabilitation Center. And if our patients had a vote, we're pretty sure they'd give her a unanimous two paws up and a couple of wings, too!

Welcome to the LRC family, Holly! We can't wait to see the difference you'll help us make for every critter that comes through our doors.

One of our beloved team members is facing the unimaginable. Her husband recently suffered a medical emergency and has not yet woken up. As she remains by his side at the hospital, she is also caring for their two young children, ages 2 and 10.

Those who know Alisha, know that she is one of the most hardworking, compassionate, and dedicated people. She has spent so much of her life caring for others, and now she needs our support.
