Meet our sweet baby Brain! 🧠

Brain is an adorable 8-month-old Staffie mix with a playful personality, endless curiosity, and a heart FULL of love!

You know that feeling when you see an animal so cute you just want to squeeze them? That’s called cute aggression. Well, Brain has that for HUMANS!

This little lover boy is absolutely convinced he’s a lap dog, and personal space? Never heard of her.

Brain loves to play, does great with other dogs, and already knows how to sit! He’s a curious, goofy puppy who’s still learning the ropes and would love a patient family to help him grow.

And did we mention he’s a VELCRO DOG?

Once Brain decides you’re his person, you can kiss your personal space goodbye. He just wants to be wherever you are!

If you’re looking for a playful best friend, professional cuddle buddy, and your very own little shadow, Brain might just be your guy!

HAPPY TAIL from Tammy Isgitt: "Mia is my blue eyed girl! She is just the sweetest little love bug. She loves giving kisses and having her ears rubbed. Tia is kind of the leader. She isn't scared of anything. Loves playing with our beagle and taking naps in my lap! Mia follows her around everywhere. They are definitely very bonded. We are so happy that we decided to adopt them together ❤️" And we thank you so much for doing that! They are the cutest couple ever.

Charleston Animal Society is inviting local animal lovers to “Jump into Joy” and meet pets looking for loving homes during Petco Love ’s national pet adoption weekend on November 7th and 8th.

National nonprofit organization Petco Love is partnering with Warner Bros. Pictures Animation as part of this national pet adoption campaign featuring characters from the new full-length animated The Cat in the Hat (in theaters November 6), encouraging people to discover the joy of bringing a pet into their lives through adoption from local shelters and rescues like Charleston Animal Society.

Charleston Animal Society will have adoptable pets available at Petco stores across the area including North Charleston, Mount Pleasant and West Ashley.

Charleston Animal Society and Petco Love are inviting members of our community to meet adoptable pets and learn more about the joys of pet adoption.

"The Cat in the Hat reminds us that even an ordinary day can become something joyful. Adopting a pet brings that same sense of fun and possibility into your life," said Petco Love President Chelsea Staley. "Pets fill our homes with love, laughter, and moments of happiness we never could have imagined."
