More sweet treats for the staff from our sweet patients and clients🍪🐾

When less is more 🤌🏼

Sweet Sky presented for not being herself. She was a little apprehensive at first, but less restraint, the right scratch spot from Dr. McFadden, and a little team-pet intervention had her clocking in for her zoomies 👟

Turns out Sky ate a little something she shouldn’t have 🍃💨

Home with strict orders for dim lights and some Pink Floyd to ride it out 🎶

A little fall surprise for our team! 🍂🎃

And a big thank you to Josie and her mom for thinking of us and spoiling our staff (and Mac, JJ, and Jondalar) with these sweet and spooky treats! 🧡

That look you give when the vet is behind you uncovering all of your secrets... 🫣

Sweet Vito was brought to us after he ingested bandaging material that his owners had wrapped around his paws ❤️‍🩹

Little did we know, that wasn’t all Vito had eaten. After inducing vomiting, he gave us quite the surprise: the bandage material, long pieces of string, multiple large chunks of a dog toy, and some random plastic for good measure 🥴

Safe to say, Vito was keeping a few secrets 🤭🐾

Sweet Josie presented to us for vomiting, lethargy, and bloody diarrhea 🫩

After a few tests, it was determined that she had a case of HGE (hemorrhagic gastroenteritis), more recently referred to as Acute Hemorrhagic Diarrhea Syndrome (AHDS).

AHDS causes sudden, severe inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, often resulting in vomiting, bloody diarrhea, and significant fluid loss 💧

Josie spent the day with us receiving IV fluids and medications to help get her feeling better ❤️

She was an excellent patient... except when it came to her cone of shame, which she highly protested 😂🐾

We’re happy to report that Josie was feeling much better and was able to head home with her family! 🏡💕

Sweet Junior presented to us for an ongoing ear infection 👂

His owners noticed a milky discharge from his ears and that he had been scratching at them a lot 🥺

An ear cytology revealed yeast, two types of bacteria, and lots of white blood cells 🫣

We treated both ears and sent Junior home with oral medications and, of course… the cone of shame 🐾

Wishing this sweet boy a speedy recovery! ❤️

Sweet Ares came in for some trouble with his left eye after his owners noticed him squinting and rubbing it 👁️

This handsome 103 lb Rottie was an absolute gentleman for all of his ocular testing 🖤

Ares went home with antibiotic + steroid eye drops and was already on the mend. Wishing this sweet boy a speedy recovery! 🐾
