🐾💙 Double the fluff, double the fun! 💙🐾

Say hello to our newest Happy Hounds duo — Daisy the golden retriever and Teddy the Bernese Mountain Dog! These two are walking sunshine and smiles, and they’ve already decided belly rubs are non-negotiable. 😄☀️🐶

Whether they’re strutting their stuff on walks or flashing those big goofy grins, Daisy and Teddy are the definition of happiness on four paws. We’re so excited to have these two sweethearts join the Happy Hounds crew! 💙🐾

Drop a 🐕 or 💙 in the comments to welcome them to the pack!

Attention Pet Parents!

As temperatures rise, it's crucial to remember that our furry friends are just as susceptible to the heat as we are. Here are some important tips to keep in mind during these scorching days: 🌡️

Limit Outdoor Time: Avoid taking your pets outside for extended periods, especially during peak heat hours (10 AM - 4 PM). 🔥

Check the Pavement: Before heading out, place the back of your hand on the pavement. If it's too hot for you to keep your hand there for 5 seconds, it's too hot for your pet's paws!
Oh Stay Hydrated: Ensure your pets have access to plenty of fresh water at all times.

Find Shade and Cool Spots: When outside, make sure your pets have access to shaded areas. Indoors, keep them in cool, air-conditioned rooms.

Never Leave Pets in Cars: Temperatures inside cars can soar to dangerous levels within minutes, even with the windows cracked.

Remember, if you're feeling the heat, your pets are too. Let's keep our furry family members safe and comfortable during the summer heat!

Stay cool and take care!

Through advocacy and education, we can work towards a world where the significance of human-animal bonds is acknowledged and the emotional pain of pet loss is legitimized.
