Ashton is learning that retirement is pretty sweet. ❤️

Since arriving in foster care, this handsome boy has been discovering some of life’s simple pleasures: putting his toes in the Sound, finding the comfiest spot for a long nap, making new greyhound friends and taking time to simply enjoy the world around him.

He’s still learning that all the new sights and sounds of home life aren’t so scary, but every day we’re seeing a little more of the sweet, gentle boy underneath.

Now there’s just one more thing on Ashton’s retirement list: finding a family to call his own. 🐾

The theme of this year’s Great Global Greyhound Walk is Mythical Mutts — so naturally, we’re having a costume contest!
Dragons? Unicorns? Wizards? Fairies? Something entirely of your own creation? Dress up your hound and bring them to our Sept. 27 picnic.
🏆 The winning Mythical Mutt takes home $25 cash!
Costumes are encouraged, but definitely not required. Come walk with us and stay for the fun!
