I’ve been working with Will and his service dog, Antonio, for a little while now. Recently, Will asked me to help get Antonio ready for an upcoming flight, where he’ll need to comfortably tuck himself away in the space under the seat in front of Will.

Today’s lesson included a mock airplane setup so we could practice exactly what will be expected of Antonio during the flight—and he absolutely crushed it! ✈️🐾

Will put together this video showing part of today’s lesson, and I just love seeing all of their hard work come together.

Great job, Antonio! And thank you, Will, for putting together and sharing the video. ❤️

A huge thank you to the Coos Bay–North Bend Rotary Club for inviting us to share more about Campbell Safe Haven Rescue & Rehabilitation and Campbell K9 University LLC! 🐾❤️

We truly appreciate the opportunity to talk about what we do, our passion for helping dogs and their families, and the many ways we work to support our community.

Thank you for the warm welcome, for taking the time to learn more about both of our organizations, and for giving us the opportunity to share something that means so much to us. We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a supportive community! ❤️🐾

🐾 This week at Coos Bay–North Bend Rotary, we had some very special four-legged guests! 🐾

A huge thank you to Rex and Deb Campbell, owners of Campbell K-9 University and founders of their nonprofit, Campbell Safe Haven Rescue & Rehabilitation, for joining us at Tuesday’s Rotary meeting!

Rex and Deb shared some helpful dog-training tips, introduced us to a couple of their incredible dogs and told us more about the work their nonprofit is doing to rescue, rehabilitate and help local dogs in need right here in our community. 🐕💙

We are so thankful for people like Rex and Deb who dedicate their time, knowledge and hearts to making our community a better place ~ for both people and their pets. Thank you for spending your afternoon with us and sharing your mission!

✨ Interested in Rotary?

We have some awesome program speakers scheduled throughout the year, covering local businesses, nonprofits, community projects and other interesting topics happening right here in our area.

If you want to learn more about how you can get involved with Coos Bay–North Bend Rotary, we’d love for you to visit our website or reach out to a Rotarian! 💙💛

Today is the last day of sweet Ruby Roo’s Boot Camp! ❤️

For the past six weeks, Ruby has been attending daycare while receiving two training sessions every day. At just six months old, she has made incredible progress and has developed outstanding impulse control. She is also off-leash trained and continues to impress us with her focus and willingness to learn.

This video shows Ian working with Ruby on her impulse control. Watching a young dog learn to stay calm, make good choices, and resist temptation is one of the most rewarding parts of training. These skills build the foundation for a well-mannered companion that can confidently navigate the real world.

We are so proud of you, Ruby Roo! Keep up the amazing work—you have a bright future ahead! 🐾💕
