Please join the Berkshire Humane Society at Carr Hardware in North Adams for a Free Rabies and Microchip Clinic for Dogs and Cats, Thursday, May 14th from 4 pm - 7 pm! Our Pet Food Bank will also be providing FREE pet food for those in need -

All dogs must be on a leash (no-flexi leashes please) and cats in carriers. Proof of previous rabies vaccination helpful, so please bring it if you have one.

Carr Hardware is located at 179 State Rd, North Adams, Ma 01247

4/27/26 UPDATE: Phil missing from North Adams has been found! He was hung up in the woods 1.1 miles from his home. He seems ok but is on the way to the vet so to be sure.

Missing Dog!! Male, , 4/25/26, "Phil" is a friendly Golden Retriever, 5 months old/40 lbs., with golden coloring. Phil is missing from the area of Kemp Ave and East Main St.

If seen, DO NOT approach, call out, or chase. Please call the number on the flyer ASAP: 413-652-7659.

For those curious - this is the club my personal dogs sport in AND we wanna tell you why!

Dock diving is a super fun dog sport where dogs sprint down a dock and leap into the water after a toy — going for distance, height, or speed!

But it’s more than just a jump…

✨ It builds confidence
✨ Burns physical + mental energy
✨ Strengthens your bond with your dog
✨ Great exercise
✨ Perfect for high-energy dogs who LOVE to work

Whether your dog is a total beginner or already obsessed with water, dock diving is an amazing way to give them purpose, enrichment, and FUN.

Our first Puppy Class of 2026 💖

Puppy Class session kicks off TONIGHT at 5:30 PM and we cannot wait to get started! 🐶💚

📅 4-Week Course Schedule:
• Week 1: April 6
• Week 2: April 13
• Week 3: April 20
• Graduation: April 27

🕠 Time: 5:30 PM each week

This course is designed to build a strong foundation for your puppy with real-life, real-world skills 🐶

You’ll learn:
✔ Engagement & focus
✔ Basic obedience
✔ Leash manners
✔ Confidence building
✔ Proper structure & communication

🎓 At the end of the 4 weeks, your pup will graduate with a Certificate of Completion and a clear path for continued training!

🐾 Reminder for tonight’s class:
• Bring lots of treats
• 4–5 ft leash only (no flexi leads)
• Properly fitted collar required
• Payment ($250) due at check-in
• Vaccinations required: Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella
