Mountain Dog Academy

🐾 WE’RE OPEN TOMORROW! 🐾

Mountain Dog Academy will be OPEN Monday, October 12th, for Columbus Day! 🇺🇸

📣 IMPORTANT REMINDER TO ALL DAYTRAIN CLIENTS!

If your dog will NOT be attending on a regularly scheduled day, we ask that you please notify us DIRECTLY through our business text line.

📲 Text us: (855) 937-4318

We’ve recently experienced an increase in clients not notifying us when their dogs will be absent or switching days. Unfortunately, these unannounced absences directly affect our daily operations, staffing decisions, and scheduling.

We schedule our staff based on the number of dogs expected each day. When clients don’t communicate absences, it makes it difficult for us to plan appropriately and efficiently.

⚠️ Effective immediately, we will be strictly enforcing our No-Call, No-Show Policy.

Please understand that notifying us of an absence is not just a courtesy. It is an important part of helping our small business operate smoothly and ensuring we can continue providing the best possible care and training for every dog in our program.

We completely understand that plans change and unexpected things happen! All we ask is that you communicate with us directly so we can plan accordingly. 🤎

Thank you to all of our wonderful clients who consistently communicate with us and respect our policies. We truly appreciate your cooperation and continued support!

📲 Message us to claim your lesson time! Appointments are first come, first served.

Daytrain lessons are your opportunity to be part of the training process! They give you dedicated time to ask questions, see your dog’s progress firsthand, practice skills hands-on, and better understand what your dog is learning and how to continue that training at home. While lessons are not required, they are strongly encouraged so you and your dog can get the most out of the Daytrain program. 🐾🧡

A little Daytrain photo dump because these pups have been putting in the work. 📸🦮

Our Daytrain Program is about so much more than dropping your dog off for the day. Throughout their time with us, we work on building better habits, confidence, engagement, and real-life skills — while still making sure they get to be dogs and have FUN. 🤎

Days can include individualized training sessions, obedience and manners, leash work, recall, place work, appropriate socialization, confidence building, structured play, treadmill/fitness work, enrichment, and plenty of time to decompress and rest between activities.

One of our favorite parts of Daytrain is getting to know each dog individually. Not every dog needs the same thing, so we meet them where they are and work toward the goals that matter for that dog and their family.

Whether we’re working through puppy craziness, polishing existing skills, building confidence, or helping create better everyday habits, our goal is always the same: dogs who understand what’s expected of them and owners who can enjoy life with them. 🐾
