We're privileged to get to hang with all kinds of cool cats and dogs. We love your pets no matter what you (or your neighbor, or the shelter, or your great Aunt Matilda) have chosen to name them. As you may expect, some names are more common than others. Which leads us to...some of our favorite names to check in lately:

If you’re feeling guilty or anxious about dropping your pet off for boarding, here are some pro tips for ensuring that you both have a good experience here at Redwind:

1. Plan ahead so that drop-off is as seamless as possible.
- Update vaccination records at least a week before your scheduled boarding stay.
- Check to make sure we have an emergency contact and your preferred vet on file.
- Provide written instructions about your pet’s eating and medicine needs.

2. Make drop-off a “non-event.”
- Pack familiar items like a preferred bed, toys, and regular food to maintain routine and provide comfort.
- Keep goodbyes brief and positive to minimize anxiety.

3. Reminders to put your mind at ease:
- You are probably more worried than your pet!
- But also: you can reply to the text line where you receive automated reminders to ask for photos and updates as needed.
- And: your dog/cat is in good hands. Our staff is in this field because they love caring for your pets. Rest assured that your pet will be well taken care of while they’re here!
