🔍 The "Fine Print" & Eligibility Requirements:
• Cats: Male cats only, must weigh over 3 pounds.
• Dogs: Male dogs only, must be over 3 months old but under 50 pounds.
• Vaccinations: All animals must be current on their rabies vaccination with proof provided at check-in. Animals without proof will be REQUIRED to receive a rabies vaccine the day of surgery (additional fees apply).
• Anatomy: Both testicles must be fully descended. We cannot perform cryptorchid surgeries under this promotional campaign.

When we tell you that your pet needs to be vaccinated, it is for their safety, your safety, and our safety. If your pet were to be bitten by a rabid animal, and not vaccinated, it is a de@th sentence. And, the only way to test for a rabies infection is to check brain tissue. So, PLEASE, make sure your babies are protected!

The CDC has reported a 17 percent increase in rabies-related inquiries in July and August compared to the same period last year.

Cats exhibit many of the same symptoms as dogs when in pain, with a few extra to look out for. Some additional signs include:

Hissing or biting when touched

Tense body posture

Flicking tail

Decreased jumping

Many of these symptoms are very hard to detect, and some of them don’t have any meaning on their own. If you are worried about your cat, be sure to call your vet and share your concerns.

You know how your dog normally behaves. If you start to notice unusual behavior, your pet could be in pain. The following behaviors are good indicators that your pooch is experiencing pain and should be brought into the vet.

Less interaction with family

Sleeping more

Lameness/limping

Disinterest in favorite activities

“Grimacing” with ears back and eyes partially closed

Hiding

Loss of appetite

Weakness

Trouble going to the bathroom

Vocalization when handled or touched
