A small change of direction at Useless Reptiles 🦎
After some thought, we’ve decided to scale back our crested gecko breeding plans.
We’ve loved getting to raise these animals, learn from them, and watch our first hatchlings grow. But as we’ve looked at where we want Useless Reptiles to go, we’ve realized that a smaller, more intentional collection is a better fit for us right now.
Because of that, we’ll be looking for the right homes for several of our crested geckos.
These are not animals we’re trying to move simply to make space. Each one has been cared for here, and our priority is finding homes that are a good fit for the individual gecko and the keeper bringing them home.
A few will remain with us, including Asta, who is very much part of the direction we still hope to explore someday. ❤️
The geckos being offered will be posted individually with their hatch date/age, s*x, weight, genetics/lineage information where known, temperament, and photos.
If one catches your eye, please reach out. We’re happy to answer questions and would rather take our time finding the right home than rush a placement.
