For those that are new here, I thought I would re-introduce myself .

I founded Walt’s Perfect Pups in 2017 and was one of the first mobile dog grooming businesses in the OKC metro area. Proudly voted one of the Top 5 Best Dog Groomers in the 405 for the past 8 consecutive years, I’ve built my business on quality care, consistency, and treating every dog like my own.
With over 20 years of grooming experience, my goal has always been simple: to provide the kind of grooming experience I’d want for my own dogs. Over the years, several groomers who trained and worked under me have gone on to successfully start businesses of their own—something I’m incredibly proud of.
My passion has always been not only providing exceptional grooming, but also helping grow the industry I love. When I’m not grooming, you’ll usually find me spending time with my Frenchies, hosting dinner parties, or finding new ways to continue growing the business I’ve poured my heart into.

Meet Jose!

Hi, I’m Jose! I grew up with dogs, and they’ve always been a huge part of my life. I have two dogs of my own, and as a homebody, I love spending time with my partner, my pups, and my cat. To me, grooming is about more than just making dogs look great—it’s about building trust. I want every dog I meet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, so every grooming appointment is calm, positive, and stress-free. I’m incredibly grateful to be growing with Walt. He’s believed in me every step of the way, and I’m honored to be part of this new chapter. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup and provide a grooming experience you both can feel good about.

Surprise! After a year and a half of being solo on the road, I’m excited to share that Walt’s Perfect Pups is growing once again! This summer, Jose Velasco will be joining me on the road with his very own brand-new mobile grooming trailer.

Many of you may already know Jose! He was part of the Walt’s Pups team 4–5 years ago before continuing his career in mobile grooming. More recently, Jose returned as my assistant, and it quickly became clear that he had a true passion for grooming and a desire to continue learning and growing. Because of that, I made the decision to send him to grooming school. Since completing his training, Jose has continued to refine his skills through hands-on experience and has been personally trained by both myself and Astrid. We have worked closely with him to help prepare him for this next chapter, and I’m excited to see him step into his own trailer and continue providing the level of care and quality that Walt’s Perfect Pups clients have come to expect.
