UPDATE: A few folks have offered and we are halfway there. Please help if you can. I'm not asking anyone to watch 11 dogs. Just one or two if you can. Once temp fosters are found, I can stress out about something else, like what to wear for the wedding. lol

Big Favor!! My son is getting married on October 2 in Eureka Springs and I will be going several days ahead to try and relax for a few days in Branson where I will meet up with the guys. I will leave the following Sunday and two days later fly to Maine to see the fall colors. I have not been back to New England in the fall since I was a kid. That being said, I need temp coverage for my dogs and also for my friend Melissa's dogs, as she will be traveling with me.
I am begging, pleading, groveling for coverage from September 25 or 26 until October 18. That might seem like a lot but we will be grateful forever and glad to repay the favor. We must know you as these are our personal dogs. Many of you have fostered for me before and I am hoping some of you will step up again and foster one or possibly two for us. Here is the line up: Elsa and Ziva (3-year-old littermates}. They would love to hang out together but don't have to. Crate trained
Vader is Black, around nine and a very easy keeper and sweet as can be.

Grover is a very rare chuggle (ok we made that word up). He is five or six and loves his toys and people. He will bark for attention, but calms down quickly. He will hike, and is a britches ditcher, but still working on finding the right belly bands. He is a complete love. Crate trained.

Leah Rose is around 15. She doesn't see well and is mostly deaf, but a very easy keeper. She sleeps most of the day but loves to wander the yard when it isn't 100 degrees. Both knees are wonky but she gets around great,

Lela is around eight and loves to hang out with her human. She is quirky but sweet.

Frosty is my white boy and the biggest lover! He is four and also crate trained.

Katie is my old black tiny girl. She is between 14 and 15 and outside of telling you exactly when it is time for her night time meds, sleeps most of the day.

Peeps is three and loves to play and cuddle when done. He is a character!

Josie is around eight years old and hw positive but will be treated before I leave possibly or when I get back depending on who fosters her. She is a very sweet girl

Riley is the one who had re**al surgery and is now doing so much better. He still gets frightened easily, but has come a very long way in trusting people

Happy Monday and it has to be better than last Monday. Lol. I have several asks today for fosters and one big ask for coverage while I am away for a bit.
First these two cuties are coming in to rescue today and need a foster home/homes. They will be vetted tomorrow in OKC and ready for a foster home. Please let me know here or by text if you can help. I have too much on my plate right now and I really need to not take any more here for a bit. Classy (fawn) and Moon (black) are three and four years old. I am told they are very sweet and just need a safe place to land and be loved on. You must live in Oklahoma and be an approved foster or applicant/adopter to take one right. This little waif was found wandering the streets of OKC, covered in fleas, at 1 am a few days ago. She needs a foster. If owners are located, it will be a short time period, but longer if we have no luck finding her home. A shelter is not a safe place for a baby this young. She is probably no more than six to eight weeks. If anyone knows who she belongs to please post here. Finder can't keep her and she has no safe place to go. Praying someone steps up and opens their home and heart to her. She may have something a bit wrong with one of her legs but no breaks. We can take care of exam, etc. Let me know if you can help. Happy Saturday! It's me Rollie and I think it is going to be happy for sure. Mama Gail hasn't confirmed that we hit our $1400 match, but I am thinking we made it or are very close. Wake up everybody. It's five dollar Friday and I sure have my paws cut out for me today as I am going to be your spokespug. My name is Rollie and I am four years old. I came into rescue when my daddy passed away. Yesterday I was spayed and I also tested positive for nasty heartworms, which cost quite a bit to treat and Riley continues to see the vet each week for more x-rays and special food and meds. I am hoping to raise enough for my heartworm treatment and Rileys latest bill. I am pretty nervous as I know other pugs have been very successful helping the rescue that saved them. I sure hope folks will consider a donation today to help out. I have on my pretty fundraising outfit and hope it will be my LUCKY fundraising outfit. Please help if you can and share my posts. Comments not only will help my confidence but keep our posts seen and any photos are an added bonus. We love to see them, and they make Mama Gail smile.

Hi everybody. My name is Rollie and I am four years old and the newest Homeward Bound pug. I tell I am more about myself tomorrow, but I wanted to let you know that there will be a 5$ Friday this Friday so save your $$$. Mama Gail chose me to me the spokespug and I am so excited. My new friend Riley is still going to the vet each week after a long hospital stay and bills are once again piling up. I will be back tomorrow with my story and hope you all will join me in raising funds for the pugs of Homeward Bfound.

UPDATE: WE HAVE PICKUP FOR ROLLIE AND A TEMP FOSTER UNTIL A LONGER-TERM FOSTER IS FOUND.

Sweet Rollie needs an immediate foster home even if temporary until we find a longer-term foster. She is being spayed today and tested positive for heartworms. She will be treated after she has taken all of her meds. She gets along with other dogs and is a sweet girl. You must live in Oklahoma and be an approved current or past foster or adopter. She will need to be picked at Rockwell Vet Clinic in OKC later today.
