We have a few more classes open before the holidays!
* Puppy Kindergarten is for puppies between 2 and 8 months old. This is an age when your puppy is exploring the world and learning how it works, so we will talk about what you can do to help them feel safe while learning to be fun, friendly, responsible members of society. In this class, we will incorporate the skills needed to achieve their AKC STAR Puppy certificate on week 6!
*Puppy Prep School is for pups coming out of Puppy Kindergarten class. This class will give you the tools to build a partnership with your dog that will help to keep you connected and communicating when times get tough. We will help your dog become a responsible family member and companion who respects boundaries, loves to come when invited, and walks calmly on a leash. Dogs learn best through play, and everybody LOVES tricks, so we also incorporate tricks into our lessons so that you and your pup can earn your AKC Novice Tricks title by the end of class.
*Urban Canine will help you and your dog cope with the outside world using the test items from the AKC Urban CGC. You will learn how to set your dog up for success when going out in various settings. This is a field trip class, so we will be meeting in a different location every week.
*Sniffari Camp! Your source for fun scent games. In this short taster of a class, we will introduce you (and your dog!) to the fascinating world of scent and problem-solving. There are many ways to learn about your dog's scent-driven world, whether it be finding loose change in an apartment or searching for a person hiding in a field. This class is a great opportunity to build confidence in your dog through problem-solving skills.

GED stands for Gently Educated Dog, and this class will give you the tools to build a partnership with your dog that will help to keep you connected and communicating when times get tough. Using an old photo, while waiting for his final ribbon photo. BIG congratulations to my long term student Terry Bohner and R***r on earning their NW3-Elite title today. I have been working with Terry and R***r since the beginning, with food in a box, and knew this day would come. So very proud of Mr Handsome. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

All Final Details email have been sent out for the upcoming NACSW trial in Niantic, IL on October 17/18, 2026. Please watch out for another email that will include information on the lunchtime Fund Raiser for the school as well as info on accessing the Run Orders on the day of the trial.

Violet, Walter, and Jack(missed the photo op) had a blast exploring BloNo in the Urban Canine class! We walked the trails, visited parks, took the elevator in the train station, and walked through both Uptown Normal's Day of Play and the Downtown Farmer's Market!
