Taking care of them (whether they're yours or my own) is important! My name is Miriam Kelly, and I went to Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Printmaking and Photography. I live in the Bloomington/ Normal area and am currently working as a trainer and Director of Communications at Creation's Dog Training Center in Normal. I do have other pr
ior experience working with animals, too. Some of my experience includes working as a pet sitter throughout high school and college, being a Jr. Zookeeper at Miller Park Zoo, volunteering at the Humane Society, and having various pets of my own. Right now I am volunteering at our local Animal Control Center in addition to working at Creation's. I want to provide a pet sitting service to people who may worry about boarding their pets at a facility for whatever reason; whether it is putting unwanted stress on your pet, if your pet is especially young or old or already ill and more susceptible to disease, or if you just want to keep your pet in the comfort of their home. Also important is your pet's well-being on those days when you just can't get back to the house to feed, potty, walk, play, take them to the vet, or just hang out with them, and I can help you! Photography is also a big part of my background, and I believe that animals (like a lot of us) are more "themselves" when they are at home. A nervous or over excited animal in a studio may not be a good recipe for a great picture. I can take keepsake and frame-able photos when they are most happy and relaxed in your own home. Most of all, this is just something I want to do and enjoy doing! If you are interested in any services for your pets or even house sitting while you're gone, please don't hesitate to contact me or tell your friends and family!
