A not-for-profit animal welfare organization, HSCI does not receive federal, state or local tax dollars. In addition to nominal adoption fees, HSCI relies heavily on donations from individuals, foundations and corporations who also have a commitment to animal welfare, and fundraising activities. The HSCI has donation support of over 900 individuals and volunteers who dedicate countless hours each year. The organization spay/neuters over 1,000 animals and helps more than 2,200 animals annually.

Salutations! I’m Elsa! I’m an 8-year-old female torbie shorthair. I’m a sweet, quiet girl. I love a cozy spot for a nap, and getting head rubs. I’ve also got the quietest purr you’ll ever hear. My adoption fee is $30.

Happy National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month!

There’s no better way to celebrate than with some exciting news… we have dogs at HSCI, and we’d love for you to come meet them!

One of the sweet faces you can meet is Max! You may recognize this handsome guy from his recent TV appearance, but now you have the chance to meet him in person and see if he’s your perfect match.

Stop by HSCI, meet Max and our other adoptable pups, and maybe you’ll find your new best friend waiting for you!
