🩷Here's to new beginnings!! 🩷

🐾Note
* This was only her 3rd meal here. Today was much better.

This Princess has started learning that humans are not bad.
She is learning that she WILL get another meal.
She is learning that human touch is not always harsh.
She has learned come and sit.
Her attention span is currently super short. 😂
She absolutely loves affection and leisurely walks. She will lick your hand for approval.
She is a work in progress. Not yet available for adoption (except to a licensed trainer).

We are constantly working on the food protecting and it will take time. She is getting 4-5 meals daily in a slow feeder, which prevents her from inhaling her kibble. She will eat from my hand, but doesn't want me to touch her bowl just yet. She has learned that NOT dumping her water pail means more drinks later haha!!!

She is definitely all puppy and I love her!! I'm trying not to weigh her for a week 🤗, then there should be progress!!

Some of you will remember this lil girl who desperately needed someone to care about her!! She needed rescued and RESCUED IS WHAT SHE GOT!!!

Through many conversations and options, the Amazing Soul who found this girl has taken her in!!

She is familiar with Aussies and knew the girl needed to be helped!! She took her in, she has been groomed and vetted!! GREAT JOB!!!

I want to share a message that put me in tears this morning.....from her now Momma...

****Update on miss Iris, she had a dental done needing to extract 4 teeth and had 4 mammary tumors removed about a week ago and is recovering so quick and amazing!
She is settling right in with her brother and other friends.

Thank you so so much for encouraging me to give her a second life she absolutely deserved ♥️

How I could help benefit your amazing rescue has been on my mind a lot lately. I would love to send you some supplies to help out! Send me a wish list if you will and I would love nothing more than to send you some supplies.*****

🐾❤️IRIS IS HOME HAPPY AND GETTING HEALTHIER EVERY DAY!! ❤️🐾

Thank you for loving her!! We LOVE animal peeps, we love giving hearts and we love our Rescue Community!!!

❤️‍🩹IT IS RESCUE DAY FOR THIS PUP!!!!❤️‍🩹

Well this time we got most of the state involved lol!! This pup showed up on an acreage near Cozad, NE nearly 3 weeks ago. She was feral and in flight mode. She did not like the resident dog and I'm told she is very scared of men.

This morning one of our Rescue Partners, Beckie King of Wood River, will head to Cozad to assist Tara Meyer in getting this pup in a transport kennel.
PLEASE PRAY THIS GOES WELL!!!

Becky will transport the dog to Grand Island, where I will meet her and bring the dog back to Furbaby Rescue!!!
I am excited to meet her and show her humans are not so bad.

Check back for pupdates while Becky and I hit the road!! ❤️‍🩹🙏🙏🙏🐾

⌛️ Time is up!!!

The right answer is.....every answer on this post!!! 🥰 EVERY SINGLE ONE!! 🥰

BUT.....with this girl....she NEEDED CONSISTENT EXERCISE!!

Weight doesn't always look like we think. Reya needed to build her muscle tone, not eat more/different food.

She eats 4-6 cups of dry Wholesomes Salmon & Rice, Sensitive Stomach split BID every day.

She gets 2 gallon of fresh clean water 2 times a day.

She gets a biscuit every night before bed.

Most importantly she gets to be a dog! Fetch is her gig so we embrace it to its fullest..that along with consistent training & exercise has proven to be the "Reya way" lol.

Give her a tub of water, 2 balls and she will entertain herself all day long!!

PLEASE ADOPT THIS SWEET 🩷!!

Oh Miss Reya!!! I finally figured out the key to successful weight gain on a high energy dog!!!

She is at peak condition and gorgeous!!! She is also available for adoption!! She does not need to run miles every day, she is 5-6 years old and will settle nicely.

About her retaining weight, well I read, listened and investigated.....who can guess the 'key'? Who knows the ONE thing that she needed??

Volunteers not eligible 🤣🤣🤷‍♀️

Remember the little girl we got off Craig's List that was near death?? Not anymore!!! This precious tiny is looking for her forever home!! She is housebroke!! She will tell you when she needs to go out! She is eating like a champ, loves her wet food twice a day and doesn't even know her meds are in there!! She takes 2 meds daily and she has ROCKED HER RECOVERY!! She is not spayed and has had no issues!! She cannot be bred, no negotiating that.
