Misty | 3yo Norwegian Fjord Mare | 13.3hh

Misty is a super cute 3-year-old Norwegian Fjord mare with a really nice brain and a ton of potential.

She rides nicely in the arena and has a good foundation, but she is still young and will need someone to continue putting miles on her and finishing her out. She’s willing, sensible, and has been easy to work with.

Where she really shines is out on trail. Misty is GREAT outside and has been ridden all over the Norco trails. She handles the normal Norco chaos well and is the type that genuinely seems to enjoy getting out and going somewhere.

I’d love to see her go to an experienced home that wants a solid trail horse, or I think she could be a really fun project for a confident youth working with a trainer. She’s cute enough to take in a totally different direction too. I could easily see her being finished out for the hunter circuit, pony club, or just becoming a really nice all-around pony.

She’s only 3, so I’m not going to call her beginner safe or pretend she’s finished. She’s a good young mare with a great start and plenty of room to make her exactly what you want.

Misty is a 3yo Fjord mare who rides great in the arena & out on trail and is beginner safe under a trainer.

We’ll be putting some more time on her, getting to know her & figuring out exactly what kind of home she’ll fit best in before she’s officially available.

But for now… just look at her 😭 the little fjord mane, the chunky pony body. We are OBSESSED🤍

A lot of people don’t realize that horses are no longer my full-time job.

Marketing pays my bills these days, but horses have always been—and always will be—where my heart is.

When I started SR Premium Equine Services in 2016, I started it for me. It was my first real job, my dream career, and what I thought I’d do forever.

When I decided to pursue a career outside of the horse industry, I honestly thought about stepping away completely.

But there was one problem: my clients.

I couldn’t bring myself to walk away and leave them scrambling to find someone they trusted with their horses. Time and time again, I heard the same frustrations: people couldn’t find someone reliable, communicative, consistent, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced.

So instead of quitting, I grew.

I brought on help. I built systems. I created something bigger than just me.

What started as my business became a way to continue serving the clients who had trusted me for years while also creating opportunities for other horsewomen who shared the same values and work ethic.

Has the horse industry put me through the wringer? Absolutely.

It’s humbled me, challenged me, broken my heart a few times, and taught me lessons I wouldn’t have learned anywhere else.

It taught me to be kind because you never know what someone else is going through. It taught me that boundaries matter. It taught me that not everyone will care as much as you do, and that’s okay.

But it also taught me how much I love helping people and their horses.

SR Premium Equine Services may not be what pays my bills anymore, but it’s still one of the things I’m most proud of. Not because of the business itself, but because of the trust that’s been built along the way.

To every client who’s trusted me, every horse that’s taught me something, and every person who’s supported this journey, thank you. ❤️
