We’re throwing an EPIC DIRT BIKE NIGHT AT THE FARM for our teens!

An evening of dirt bikes, competition, fire, food, friends + the farm after dark.

DIRT BIKE TRACK
The track is OPEN! Teens will ride our Lightfoot Farms dirt-bike course during supervised riding time. All levels welcome — everyone starts on the beginners track and progresses from there. Bikes are available for all levels.

LASER TAG
Teams, strategy, competition and an all-out battle around the farm!

FARM RELAY RACES
Team challenges, a little chaos and plenty of bragging rights.

🐑 EVENING FARM ROUNDS
Help check on the animals, feed where needed, close up pens and experience the farm as the sun goes down.

🔥 FIRE COOKING + DINNER
We’ll cook together over the fire and enjoy dinner outside — dirt on our boots and smoke in the air!

🍎 APPLE ROASTING + S’MORES
Because no farm fire is complete without something sweet!

⭐ BONFIRE UNDER THE STARS
We’ll wind down around the fire with music, food, conversation and plenty of time for teens to just hang out together.

We’re especially excited to welcome the growing Christian homeschool community and create more opportunities for homeschooled teens and local teens to connect, build friendships and have some good old-fashioned fun together.

Expect: dirt • fire • competition • good food • new friendships • adrenaline • animals • laughter • and an unforgettable night at the farm.

Ride hard. Laugh loud. Stay for the fire.

Loved this day so much

Thank you to Deanna and Elzie and Pastor Josh for blessing us with your heart for our father and this place; for worshipping with us, and dedicating this year ahead to HIM.

We prayed, we worshipped, we gave thanks and spoke life and surrendered this place to His will- together.

Thank you to Sandra from Rooted & Brave for coming and sharing about the Missions Trips she has planned for this year with Endurance Leadership.

Thank you to the families who have committed to walk this year out with us together, and our incredible team of staff and volunteers who make it all possible in and through Him.

Here we go!

Kingdom KIN ~ LET’S BEGIN!

We intentionally started this year off slow.

We wanted to create space to sit together, catch up, fellowship, welcome new families, and notice what the children naturally gravitate toward (pretty much… EVERYTHING! ).

To make a new friend.
To reconnect with an old one.
To start finding their people.
To Honor God.
To begin feeling like, this is my place.

Our first week was a little bit of orientation and a whole lot of exploring.

We walked the farm and learned the lay of the land. We visited the chickens and ducks, checked out what’s growing in the garden and picked greens for the bunnies.

We discovered brand new babies, gathered eggs, spent time petting the animals, met our pot-bellied pigs, explored the barn side of the farm and, of course… rode our pony Cracker. 🐴

And somewhere in the middle of all that, we planted a few seeds of another kind.

Our scripture memorization verse this month is from Seeds Worship, and is such a sweet way to begin the year — planting God’s Word in our children’s hearts and giving them something lasting to carry with them.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength."
Mark 12:30

There will be plenty of time for our big themes, deep dives, projects and adventures. For now, during the month of September we’re making room for the children to settle in, connect, and have some FUN.

Our 2026–27 themes officially kick off the first week of October, and we are SO excited about what’s ahead.

If you’ve been watching from the sidelines wondering if Kingdom Kin might be the right fit for your family — it’s not too late to join us!

We have limited space available in our ONE DAY Wednesday OR Friday programs for 2.5-15 yrs of age, and we’ve also soft-launched our "preschool" program:

🌿 The Wild Atelier at Kingdom Kin
Thursdays | 9–1
Ages 2–7
A farm-based child led experience for our littlest wild ones.
*younger siblings free to attend.
Come see the farm. Meet us. Let your kids explore.

Message us! There’s still room around our great BIG table, and we’d love to meet your family. Interested? LInk in bio for our interest form - best place to begin.

WE ARE HIRING: for our Thursday Wild Atelier 9-1 pm

Our Thursday program for children ages 2- 7 intentionally different from a traditional classroom. It is a free-flow, child-led learning environment where carefully prepared invitations and beautiful, thoughtfully curated spaces encourage children to follow their curiosity and engage deeply in their work.
We are looking for the person who can help us bring that environment to life.

The Role

We are seeking a Montessori Atelier & Outdoor Learning Facilitator to lead our Thursday program for children ages 2–7.

This is not a traditional teaching position.
You will be responsible for preparing the environment, curating meaningful invitations to explore, observing children closely, and knowing when to step in—and when to step back.

You are creating the conditions for discovery.

A child may spend an hour building something, become fascinated by a worm in the garden, move from painting to weaving, return to a project from the previous week, or gather around a practical-life activity with a friend.

We don't need someone who needs every child doing the same thing at the same time.

We need someone who can see the learning happening inside the curiosity.

The Thursday WILD Atelier
Each week, you will transform our outdoor learning environment into a place children are drawn toward.
You will curate beautiful, purposeful invitations that may include:

Art, painting, drawing, sculpture & mixed media
Natural materials, loose parts & found objects
Woodworking, building & simple making
Gardening, planting & nature exploration
Practical life & purposeful work
Fiber, weaving, sewing & handwork
Observation, investigation & discovery
Books, storytelling & language invitations
Water, sand, mud & sensory exploration
Nature collections, specimens & treasures from the farm

The goal isn't to fill a table with activities.

The goal is to curate an environment that makes children want to say, "I wonder..."

If the thought of this absolutely THRILLS YOU
