3 Licensed Shows hosted over 2 days.
2 different disciplines- Liberty and Working Eq.
Horsemen and horses of many backgrounds.
And one incredibly well timed, surprise visit from one of the professors who truly shaped my entire outlook of the horse industry.
I am exhausted but driven, empty but full, unsure but excited all at once.
Thank you to EVERYONE for coming out this weekend— competitors, volunteers, Shaina of Heart W Media as our photographer, Melissa of the Southwest Liberty Horse Club ILHA as my right hand and our collaborator, and to
our WE officials.
And a massive thank you to Ms. Becky for making the time to come out and see us.
Congratulations to our Liberty competitors on your truly stellar performance, and for reminding us to have FUN with our horses, and our dogs.
To our Working Eq. Competitors on your rides!
To everyone who qualified for WE Regionals, massive congratulations is in order! You guys should be so proud of yourselves and your horses!
To our competitors from Versatile Horsemanship who are still needing qualifying scores— first, I am proud of you all.
You’ve been involved in this sport for 1 year.
You were all L1 riders last year.
This year, you rode up to L2. That in itself is something to celebrate.
The idea that you have to be ready is an interesting one. I don’t know that any of us ever truly feel “ready” to break out of what is comfortable; and that’s when taking the risk and having the courage to try will ultimately change your life. It may not be immediate, and it will be difficult, but taking action will bring on success.
We already have another chance in the works for riders looking to qualify for WE Regionals. 💪🏻
As long as you are willing to take action, have courage and try— I will be there right alongside you to encourage you, remind you to drop the excuses, and to facilitate opportunities for you from Liberty to WE, Ranch Horse to Reining, etc.
Thank you all for a great weekend, it was good to have you all here and I personally learned so much.
📸 Photo is from WE Regionals last year because
I didn’t take any this weekend.
