Versatile Horsemanship, LLC is owned and operated by Elliot and Caitie Holtzman. We are a low-key horse training operation with the goal of teaching and training through furthering our educations and bettering our own handiness about horses. We work one-on-one with our clients and their horses to help them achieve their goals and to help enable them to successfully and safely handle, work at Liberty, and/or ride their own horses.

Starting horses under saddle is part of what we do and it’s sure work worth doing. This filly has been making big strides in her education and is soaking up knowledge like a sponge. ☺️

2yo palomino filly by Walla Walla Whiz.
This one is available for purchase and we would love to keep her in our program, or see her go on into another show program.

We had a couple new riders who wanted to give this sport a try, some who wanted to get judge feedback for improvement, and a few of our riders still wanted to try and get qualified for Regionals… so we did another set of Public, Licensed, Working Equitation Shows tonight and will continue tomorrow morning to about lunch time.

Everything is figureoutable.

It took a lot on all ends to squeeze two more opportunities in, not just for us, but also our TD Kate Murray-del Aguila and Judge Doreen Annette Atkinson, our volunteers, and the team behind the scenes at USAWE working to license shows and update the online system… but man, seeing the determination, camaraderie, and the sportsmanship of our crew and riders is incredible.

This is a completely new sport to all of us, and you guys’ heart and try is inspiring to me. It makes so many things worth it.

Here’s to good horses, fun, and horsemanship. Tonight, like so many nights, I am grateful for the horse and the people God has placed in our lives through them.

Tomorrow, we show. Then we continue working training horses afterwards. 🙏🏻
