Greetings and I hope everyone is doing well. Decided to offer some practice training tips to help everyone. Enjoy and stay safe!

1A and 1B Practice Tips

This video is about 15 minutes so if you want to work along with it, you will get a practice session done. You will also learn how to fit in everything you should be practicing with your dog.

Here is what 1A should be practicing:
Heel on leash
Figure 8 on leash
Sit for exam on leash
Sit stay on leash for 30 seconds
Recall on leash (no finish)

Here is what 1B should be practicing:
Heel on leash
Figure 8 on leash
Stand for exam on leash
Recall off leash (with finish) - work on leash for a while
Down stay (walk around ring with leash off)
Sit stay and get your leash

Start doing some practices outdoors in a fenced area to expose your dog to more distractions.

Good morning and I hope everyone is hanging in there depsite the cold weather! Below is the lesson for today and remember keep practicing!!

2A and 2B. Stand for Exam Off Leash

This is just like stand for exam on leash except you remove (unclasp) the leash when told and hand it to the ring steward. You should walk straight ahead of your dog 6 feet and then turn around to face the dog. Practice a few times with your dog on leash and count your steps to the end of the leash so you will know how many steps to go with your dog off leash. When told to return, walk along your dog's left side, around behind your dog, and up next to your dog's right shoulder. When told to finish, tell your dog to heel and take 2-3 steps and stop so your dog sits. Then you will be told "exercise finished." Praise your dog.

Someone asked about shot records the other day. Obviously the deadline will be extended. When we know when we can meet again, we will let everyone know when to bring your shot records in. Again try to practice every day and keep training positive!
