Noank-Mystic Veterinary Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital caring for pets in the Noank, Mystic, and Groton, CT areas. While we primarily treat dogs and cats, we also provide experienced veterinary care to exotic companion animals, including various avian species and waterfowl, rodents and other small mammals, rabbits, reptiles, and pretty much anything else that fits through the door!

Attention: Clinic Summer Hours

Starting in July 2024 our clinic hours will be changing. We will also have closures due to holidays and staff availability.

New Hours:
Monday: 8am to 7pm (closed every other week) *
Tuesday: 8am to 6pm
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 8am to 6pm
Friday: 8am to 6pm (closed every other week) *
Saturday: 8am-2pm
Sunday: 8:30am- 12:30pm

We are closed for lunch between 1pm-2pm and some weekend openings will vary due to staff availability.

*If we are open on a Monday, we will be closed that Friday, and if closed on Monday will be open on that Friday. Please call us to see if we are open that day. 860-536-6656

Did you know that Ryan Gosling is a patient at our hospital? No, no, not Ryan Gosling the actor who portrays Ken in the blockbuster hit of the summer, Barbie. This is Ryan Gosling, the goose!
Ryan had ingested two small pieces of metal and underwent a proventriculotomy where Dr. Otka successfully removed the metal. We are happy to report that Ryan has recovered well since his surgery!
Here are some photos of Ryan receiving laser therapy and a quick clean up after his procedure. The photos of the X-rays show before and after the surgery.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Our office will be closed July 23rd until July 26th. We will re-open on July 27th for normal business hours, 8am to 7pm.

It is with immense sadness for us to share that we lost our sweet Sho-B this past week. She was a familiar face around the hospital for nearly 11 years and we know many of you enjoyed being greeted by her when you came in. Her playful, friendly and chatty personality will be missed by so many. She passed surrounded by all of us that loved her so much and we will surely miss her demanding meows for more food and snuggles. Run free sweet girl ❤️

Meet Raisin the duck. She thought it was a good idea to eat an industrial staple. Don't worry Dr. Otka came to her rescue and surgically removed the staple. Now she is doing great and living her best life. She even laid an egg during her hospital stay. Dr. Otka once again did such an amazing job! 🦆🥚
