🐾 Bobcat Fever Awareness 🐾

We’ve recently seen multiple cases of Bobcat Fever (Cytauxzoon felis) in our area, and we want to help keep our feline friends safe. This serious tick-borne disease can progress quickly, so early recognition and prevention are extremely important.

⚠️ Signs to watch for:
• Fever
• Lethargy
• Loss of appetite
• Yellowing of the gums/skin
• Difficulty breathing

🩺 Prevention is key:
✔️ Keep cats on year-round flea/tick prevention
✔️ We highly recommend Seresto collars for added protection
✔️ Check for ticks regularly
