Remaining inventory includes: 2 Youth Large, 3 Youth X-Large, 3 Adult Small, 3 Adult Medium, and 2 Adult Large.

Well that’s a wrap on our 2026 “Decades of Dedication” Teacher Appreciation Week!

We started our morning with a yogurt bar and pastries and ended it with gift boxes for each staff member and prizes for the “Best Dressed” for each day.
(That was a hard one to judge)

We appreciate each and every one of you that stopped by and dropped off drinks, desserts, and gifts to help make the week super special for our amazing staff members!

My bad, I meant to make this post much earlier but all the excitement from today’s “dope” 80’s/90’s celebration has had me distracted.

We enjoyed a “slammin” lunch from Rio Grande Mexican Restraunt along with some “off the hook” dessert from Stephanie Zent & Kim Parsons. We can’t thank you all enough for helping spoil our staff!

The participation with dressing the part has been “all that and a bag of chips” and we cannot wait to see what y’all have in store for tomorrow’s 2000’s day!

Today was absolutely fantastic with a nostalgic journey back to the 1960’s/70’s. We’d like to express our deepest gratitude to Nitro Ice and Water and Nitro Bedliners and Truck Accessories for the delightful soups & Spring Hill Hotdogs. As well as
Mountain Care Network and Wendy Haddox for the scrumptious cupcakes!

The Teachers and Staff of Nitro Elementary are truly some of the best!
Tomorrow we take off on a journey though the 80’s/90’s.

Today we joyfully honored our remarkable Teachers and Staff in vibrant 1940's/50's style with delicious hamburgers generously provided by the Harmon Family and scrumptious ice cream sundaes.

We kicked off our Decades of Dedication Teacher Appreciation Week with a vibrant celebration of the 1920s/30s, and it was a roaring good time. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Cattlemen’s Roadhouse for generously donating the amazing chicken alfredo, salads, and garlic toast.

Special thanks to Gino's Pizza And Spaghetti South Charleston for crafting our savory spaghetti and lasagna, and to
C4Impress Custom Design and Graphics for providing the irresistible desserts.
