HQ Show Me The Spook “Hugh” made some really nice runs at the Oil Can Classic! A leg on a very tough steer kept him out of the money but he worked extremely well and put Will Jones where he needed to be on each run! Thanks to Marx Media for the great footage!

And that’s a wrap to the 2026 HQ Foaling! Buckskin filly born just before midnight by HQ Top Gun and out of Sevens Brazos Lily! This little lady makes it a filly year with 8 fillies and 7 c**ts from March 31st to May 27th. Still several pictures to come with announcements but for now the lights are out in the foaling barn and we get to go to back to sleep and not check the cameras until 2027!!

HQ Hot Smokin Gun “Kenny” had his breakout show in Denison, Iowa over the past two days! He earned his first AQHA Points but earned them already in three events! He earned 1.5 Performance Halter Points including 1 Grand Champion with John Kabeisman, 1.5 Open Heading and 6 Open Heeling both with Luke Jones! Kenny is a 4 year old stallion by AQHA World Champion CT Show Me Your Guns and out of Very Hot Dress x Very Smart Remedy.

Would like to wish our good friend and long time horse trainer Luke Jones a very happy birthday! This is a little throwback from the moment when he knew he sealed the deal and solidified a trip to the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Finals with HQ Helluva Cat in 2019! We are very blessed for all of the years that Luke has been part of our program. Our horses would not have accomplished the things that have without all of the hard work he puts in!
