🐴 We’re Hiring: Full-Time Barn Manager!

The Kentucky Equine Adoption Center is looking for an experienced, hands-on Barn Manager to join our team in Nicholasville, Kentucky, and help give horses in need a second chance.

This full-time leadership position plays an important role in overseeing the daily care, rehabilitation, training, and preparation of our horses for adoption while leading and supporting our barn team.

We’re looking for an accomplished and versatile horseperson with experience managing multiple horses and leading equine care or training staff, along with strong knowledge of equine health, behavior, training, and husbandry. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, confident in making sound decisions, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of care for every horse at KYEAC. 🐴💙

🐴💙 We’re incredibly grateful to the Petfinder Foundation for awarding the Kentucky Equine Adoption Center a grant to help cover veterinary expenses for the horses in our care!

One of the horses benefiting from this support is Dakota, a recent new arrival at KYEAC, pictured here receiving his entrance exam. As part of the exam, our veterinary team performed X-rays to help us get a better understanding of Dakota’s health and identify any needs that may affect his care, training, or future adoptive home. 🩺

Thanks to the Petfinder Foundation’s generous support, we can continue providing horses like Dakota with the veterinary care they need while we search for their forever home. Thank you for helping us give Kentucky’s equines the care, compassion, and opportunity they deserve as they begin their next chapter! 🐎💙
