Sweet little Eevee. 💕🐾
At her last grooming appointment, I noticed enlarged lymph nodes in her throat, chest, and groin. With more than 30 years of grooming experience, I knew something wasn’t right and urged her dad to take her straight to the vet.
Eevee was diagnosed with lymphoma.
Six weeks later, I got to groom this sweet girl again—and she’s responding well to treatment, her bloodwork has improved, and those frighteningly swollen lymph nodes are much smaller. ❤️
Her dad is fighting cancer too, making Eevee’s strength and progress even more meaningful. His greatest wish is simply to have her by his side for as long as possible.
Eevee’s story is an important reminder to regularly check your dogs for new lumps, bumps, swelling, or other changes. A regular groomer can become familiar with what feels normal, but groomers cannot diagnose or replace veterinary care. If something feels different, please contact your veterinarian promptly.
Keep fighting, Eevee. We’re all rooting for you! 💕🐾
