Bear's Pet Food Pantry We believe that no one should have to choose between feeding their pets and feeding themselves. We are now a CT Nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization!

Bear's Pet Food Pantry was started with the idea that no one should have to choose between feeding their pets and feeding themselves. By providing pet food assistance to the people who are experiencing financial hardship, we will be able to find alternatives to abandoning or surrendering pets to local shelters due to lack of food and be able to keep pets and their families who love them, together.

Please remember this handy trick when it comes to determining whether or not it’s safe to walk your dog:

Hold the back of your hand down to the asphalt for seven seconds; if you can do it with ease, you should be good to go for a walk. If not, opt for an indoor activity instead.

Hope this helps everyone to understand that we are trying so very hard to meet the demand…. Veterinary medicine has completely changed since the beginning of Covid. It hasn’t changed the way that our doctors and teammates treat your animals. We adore them! (Even the “naughty” ones!!❤️🐾) The pressure has become much greater. More patients to see… More time spent cleaning…. More time on the phones…. More time trying to do the very best that we can for you and your furbabies. Last seen July 18th on South Edgewood Rd, Niantic (Giant Neck Heights). His mom is frantic with worry! He's an indoor cat, but accidentally slipped through the door.
