Niagara Paws is proud to say we are an official sponsor of Dog Days of Kenmore! We will have a booth where we be hosting a Basket Raffle, all proceeds will go to our Pet Emergency Fund.

The Pet Emergency Fund assist pet owners with the cost of emergency veterinary care, when funds are available. Any and all donations are appreciated!

Friday means that we have another Staff member to feature! Today we have Thia, one of the friendly faces you'd see at reception!

Thia is one of our receptionists/assistants here at Niagara Paws, where she enjoys assisting families and their beloved pets.

Though she doesn’t have any pets of her own, Thia cares for all types of pets when their families are out of town. Her clients range from cats & dogs to goats & ducks!
In her free time, Thia likes making art projects, including sewing cat toys for her furry nephews. She is also an avid sitcom fan, watching every night with her fiancé.

Thia also helps create content for our social media.
She is absolutely thrilled to be a part of our amazing team here at Niagara Paws!

Today we helped our close neighbors (Aquarium of Niagara) by assisting to get an X-Ray of Mortisha. She is a 12.5-year-old Red Eared Slider Turtle who recently laid a lot of eggs, so they just wanted to check to see how many were left! Per Dr. Katie (Aquarium Veterinarian), she has one formed egg, but presence of follicles still show she may lay more eggs in the future! We look forward to more collaborations with our friends around the corner! Follow us both to see what happens next!

We have a a familiar face for today's Feature Friday! Amanda is one of our amazing Vet Technicians!

Amanda has been a LVT for 15 years, graduating from Medaille College. She is also a Certified Dog Trainer for 5 years. She founded her company Compassionate Companion Training in 2021, where she offers Fear Free dog training. She has 3 pets, her cat Cagney, her dog Clover, and her horse Rogan.

Amanda spends any free time she has ouside. She is out every morning hiking with Clover or riding Rogan. She also enjoys traveling, weather it be camping or attending conferences. Amanda is always eager to learn more in order to grow and be a knowledgeable reasource for our community.

Friday means you get to meet another one of our lovely staff members! Today we'd like you to meet Sally!

Sally Rick is one of our Assistants here at Niagara Paws. She has always loved animals and started her education in the Animal Science Department at BOCES during her high school years earning her Veterinary Assistant Certification. She then attended Suny Niagara, earning a degree in Animal Management this year.
Sally can also be found working at Niagara Falls State Park.

Along with her love of all animals, she loves to hike looking under rocks to see what kind of bugs she can find. She also loves to spend time with her friends and family, especially spending time with her grandmas doing legos and other crafts. She has had plenty of furry and feather friends in her life and she will have plenty more in the future and cannot wait to see what her future can bring.

It's time for another Feature Friday! Today we are featuring one of our Receptionist/Assistant Camile!

Camile Is Niagara Falls born & raised with a great passion for helping animals. She is one of our receptionists here at Niagara Paws.

Camile is a proud board member & foster mom for She not only loves her furry pets but even has a couple of scaly and feathered ones too!

Just give us a call to set up an exam or ask her questions. Better yet, swing on down to see her charasmatic smiling face when your beloved pets are in need of care.
