We did an experiment over the weekend to see if I could get Super Beefsteak Tomato plants to grow faster using microgreen growing techniques.

To my extreme pleasure, it looks like we can, and in less time than the package says they should take. We were able to get them to sprout in 4 days! Now we're curious to see how fast they'll reach the stage needed to plant them.

We're going to experiment with other vegetable seeds to see if we can get them to sprout faster, also.

If these tomato seedlings grow to full size, and we know they will, we should easily have about 60 Super Beefsteak tomato seedlings for sale in time for planting.

This week's Bergholz Farm Market is cancelled, so we have lots of microgreens for sale. If you want any, instant message me and we'll arrange delivery.

We currently have 2 oz containers of the following for sale:

(8) Sunflower Shoots
(6) Broccoli
(3) Rambo Radish
(4) Spicy Salad Mix
(2) Basic Salad Mix

Salad mixes are $9 each or 2 for $15.

Radish, Broccoli and Sunflower shoots are $7 each or 2 for $11.

Due to the extreme heat at the Bergholz Farm Market last night, there were very few customers. As a result, we have lots of microgreen left to sell.
