Our promising 2 year old filly said oh you think your getting ahead and can relax and tell me that I'm getting ready for fall workout camp. Hold my b**r. Trimmed muscle away and layers of stitches and drain tube later. Dr Jen from Green Glen equine hospital gave her the thumbs up. So fingers crossed she is now a good recovery pony and doesn't turn feral on stall rest 🤦

Went to BBRC again last night for arena work. Thankful cause I myself needed it. Regrouped after Sunday work out went back to basics and turned off the mental over thinking and just focused on the moment and remember he's coming off of down time. Worked amazing.

Then for the first time rode him bridless around the arena then took him through the club grounds just a neck rope. He's my biggest blessing and my best peace on earth.

Our last camping trip in June was at CTR. Some of the best views and trails been on so far this year. Taking a small break then going to get ready for late summer and fall rides. Even though the roan has been on a mend break, he's back healed and sound so he'll be going on camping trips soon.

First trip of many to come behind the 4-wheeler. This youngster is going to have a very good bright future. She's a thinker. She's willing and eager to learn and do things. She's what one would call watchy but she's not going to hurt you. Willow here's the future in the rodeo pen and hitting the trails

May was an absolute epic month.

Unfortunately June hasn't started the best with the roan horse on the sidelines. But he'll be back with however long it takes. Nothing major but him and the paint are boys so the saying goes boys will be boys.

Taking a break and doing some camping with the ponies and trail rides here over the next few weeks.

It's been awhile since posted anything. But it's hay season and we are in the swing of making hay, round bales and square bales. Will soon have it all finished up for the 1st round.

The main roan horse is out for awhile so we are changing gears and for the next few weekends we'll be camping and trauma riding with the horses. The big paint may make a run here or there.

Had a amazing day yesterday at Bonny Brook riding club for the first show series and ibra show. Won the divisions we needed to in open and adult so pocket change is a plus. The best part was the day spent with great fantastic friends. Our support system for each other is truly heart warming.
