TOP BAR’S SUMMER HORSE CAMP 2026

🚨Registration is officially OPEN!🚨

Two weeks available this summer:

☀️ June 15–19
☀️ July 20–24

Full 5 Day week or 3 day options available this year! This is a first ever for us to be able tonoffer an entire week of camp to iur campers!

If you have a horse-crazy kid, this is where they need to be this summer!

Campers spend their days riding, learning real horsemanship skills, caring for the horses, playing games, making crafts and making new friends at the barn.

✨ Western & English riding offered
✨ Beginners through advanced riders welcome

During the week campers are placed on teams, earning points through riding challenges, horsemanship skills, games, and teamwork leading up to our end-of-week team awards.

Parents and families are invited on the final day for a fun horse show where campers demonstrate what they learned.

Camp activities include:

• Daily riding
• Grooming, tacking & horse care
• Horse games & team challenges
• Outdoor games & water activities
• Arts & crafts

✨ Full week camps
✨ Limited 3-day options available
✨ Ages 3+
✨ Sibling & multi-camp discounts available

Spots are intentionally limited to keep groups small and give each camper plenty of horse time.

☀️ Top Bar Farm Summer Horsemanship Club ☀️

A fun, hands-on 4-week program designed for kids who love horses and want to learn more — no riding experience required!

This club is perfect for:
• Kids interested in horses but not quite ready to commit to full riding lessons
• Future horse owners wanting to learn proper horse care and handling
• Beginner riders looking to build confidence around horses
• Horse-crazy kids who simply want more hands-on barn time!

Each one-hour class will focus on practical horsemanship skills and horse knowledge in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Every topic will include both beginner and advanced sections so kids of all experience levels can learn and grow together.

📅 Program Dates
Every Monday from June 22 – July 13
5:00–6:00 PM
Doors open at 4:45 PM for everyone to get settled in.

🐎 Weekly Schedule

Week 1 – Grooming & Horse Anatomy
Learn proper grooming techniques, grooming tools, horse colors/markings, and parts of the horse.

Week 2 – Bathing & Show Prep
Learn how to properly bathe a horse, basic braiding/show prep, and preparing horses for events.

Week 3 – Feeding & Nutrition
Learn about hay, grain, supplements, feeding schedules, hydration, and how nutrition affects horse health.

Week 4 – Horse Ownership & Daily Care
Students will work in groups with an assigned horse to create a daily care plan while learning about feeding routines, turnout, exercise, grooming schedules, vet/farrier care, and the responsibilities of horse ownership.

• $150 for the full 4-week program
• $40 per individual class

Cycle 5! WOW time is flying!

🚨Just a reminder this is our off week!🚨

Cycle 5 invoices have been sent out to those who pay for packages via venmo. Thank you so much to everyone who has already paid.

As our program grows, we’re strongly encouraging families to switch to lesson packages rather than weekly payments. Lessons are scheduled appointments with reserved horses, time slots, and preparation behind the scenes — they are not a “come when you can” activity. Consistent attendance and payment help ensure we can continue properly caring for our horses and maintaining the quality of our program.

In the future, we will likely transition to 2-lesson or 4-lesson cycle packages only and no longer offer a weekly pay per lesson option.

✨ Reserved, consistent lesson spots
✨ Easier scheduling and planning
✨ Helps keep the program sustainable and running efficiently for everyone

Spring lessons are in full bloom here at Top Bar Farm!

We’re opening up a few daytime lesson spots and may have limited availability for 1–2 evening lessons as well. If you’ve been thinking about getting in the saddle (or getting your child started), now is a great time to reach out!

Summer camp registration is officially OPEN ☀️
Our camps are open to all ages and are always a highlight of the season—hands-on horse time, learning, confidence building, and lots of fun at the farm.

I’m also gauging interest in a Spring Mini Session starting in May for our littlest horse lovers. This will be RSVP-only and designed as a low-pressure, budget-friendly introduction to horses—perfect for beginners or families wanting to try it out before committing to regular lessons.
