🐾 Is Your Dog Ready to Become an AKC Canine Good Citizen? 🏅

Join us at The Exceptional Pet for our 4-week AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Prep & Test Course! Starts Sunday, 10/18 at 12:40pm.

Whether your dog has graduated from Middle or High School, you're interested in pursuing therapy dog work, or you simply want to take your dog's good manners to the next level, this class is a great next step!

🐕 How It Works:

Weeks 1–3: Practice and polish the 10 skills required for the AKC CGC test.

Week 4: Put your teamwork to the test with an official AKC CGC evaluation!

What are the 10 CGC skills?

🐾 Accepting a friendly stranger
🐾 Sitting politely for petting
🐾 Welcoming grooming and handling
🐾 Walking nicely on a loose leash
🐾 Walking calmly through a crowd
🐾 Sit, down, and stay on cue
🐾 Coming when called
🐾 Remaining polite around other dogs
🐾 Staying confident around distractions
🐾 Remaining calm during supervised separation

💜 It's about more than obedience! The CGC program celebrates responsible dog ownership, good manners, confidence, and the connection between you and your dog.

🎓 AKC CGC testing fee included!
