🌈🩵 please join us 🩵🌈

We are proud to announce the opening of our pet memorial Rainbow Bridge Garden, right here in Newtown. Dr. Vali and his team have been working alongside the Newtown Parks and Recreation Department Newtown Parks and Recreation for quite some time to bring this project to fruition, and it is finally time to share it with our beloved community. We cannot thank them enough for their contributions towards this project.

We’d like to thank our wonderful Mary (and her handy assistant, Sawyer!) for making our bridge even more beautiful with the addition of rainbow paw prints 🐾 extra shout out to Carlos for helping tidy up the area before the big day!

We hope to see you there! The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 4PM at the Orchard Hill Nature Center, 10/9/26.

paws and kisses,
Your Mt. Pleasant Family

giving a HUGE shoutout to Dr. Markette for leading a CPR training this afternoon with some of our newer staff. we reviewed emergency protocol such as how to switch on the oxygen if needed, administering oxygen, the proper pace and pressure for chest compressions, and where our emergency drugs are kept! most importantly, how to move quickly as well as safely during an active medical emergency!

there would be more pictures if a certain staff member who updates our social media channels wasn’t in on the training 😋

a special thank you to our stuffed horse for being a perfect patient 🐴
