We can't say enough great things about this beautiful boy. Rupert is our 7-year-old, very lovable Husky. This 80-lb. gentleman been with us for over a year, and we still fall for his handsome face every day. You must experience Rupert's charm in person — those icy blue eyes and his glamorous, fluffy coat are truly picture-perfect.

Rupert is so well-known in the shelter, that every time he is taken outside by staff or volunteers, it feels like he has an entourage to support his fame.

Rupert is active, playful, and walks well on leash. He's smart and loves positive reinforcement training time. It's his favorite way to bond with people. He's got it all, and has been patient, yet eager to find his new human to take him on adventures — don't forget his favorite occasion for car rides, pup cups.

Despite Rupert's good looks, he isn't a huge fan of being cuddled or fussed over. We're recommending him to go to an adult-only home with people who can respect his "can't touch this" attitude. He will thrive as your special one and only dog.

Today, we recognize and honor the Juneteenth holiday and welcome those who are off and enjoying the holiday to visit our shelters which are open for regular hours today: 12-6 pm. Adoptions end a half hour before closing.

😂 BREAKING: Scientists have confirmed that driving through Pennsylvania now qualifies as an extreme sport.

First, you pay the Turnpike toll. Then you dodge potholes big enough to have ZIP codes. A deer appears out of nowhere. Construction signs promise delays, but nobody’s actually working. And somehow there’s still someone six inches off your bumper.

By the time you get home, your suspension needs therapy.
