"Why is the dog vomiting?"

We aren't trying to be difficult when we say, "Please come in!"
There can be hundreds of causes of vomiting. The best way to get the right answer and the most effective treatment is:
(1) Thorough history: let us know any potential exposure or access to medications, cleaning products, missing toys/ socks, ect.
(2) Physical exam: we will evaluate your pet from head to toe to help see if they are stable vs. dehydrated, in shock, have a fever, have enlarged lymph nodes, ect.
(3) Diagnostics: we may recommend blood work and abdominal imaging (radiographs, ultrasound, CT scan) depending on the history and physical exam findings.

The fastest answer and best outcome usually involves a vet visit. We are here to help!

Continuing education is a top priority at UVPP and we are so grateful to have incredible colleagues in our veterinary community who are willing to share their time and knowledge with us. We are so thankful to Rory aka "InventRory" for the tireless work she puts in behind the scenes to keep our clinic running at its very best. From hunting down the best possible prices on supplies to meticulously monitoring our stock of items and medications, her dedication ensures that our team always has exactly what we need to deliver excellent care to every patient that walks through our doors.

But what makes her truly extraordinary? She doesn't just keep our shelves stocked, she also steps up as a Certified Veterinary Technician in our Urgent Care department, providing phenomenal patient care with the same passion and expertise she brings to everything she does.
